Frequently Asked Questions
Is it full ice or half ice?
All games for 10U and above will be full-ice games to allow new 10U players to get an understanding of what full-ice concepts will look like. If you are a 2016 and younger, you will be playing 8U half-ice.
Are there practices?
No, these are fun hockey games. No practices.
Will 14U/15U be allowed to hit?
No, there is no hitting of any kind in this Spring League. This is for fun, not for hurting anyone.
How will 14/15U be set-up?
We will have a 3 team division and when registration is complete and the deadline has passed, we will evenly set up the teams and send the team rosters a few days before the first skate. We will also post the rosters on our Facebook page.
Spring League
The Alaska Blades will be hosting a Spring League again at the Mac starting in March and ending the last day of April. We will be offering 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U programs.
